Safety Patrol

This is available only to 5th-grade students. Safety Patrol assists staff with morning car and breakfast duty, welcoming students with a smile and walking younger students to class as needed. Students are expected to exemplify Engineer Pride and model school expectations.

Location: Meets before school in the Media Center and monitors in assigned areas.

ECE-BOTS

Robotics Competition Team

4th- and 5th-grade students can apply to be a member of this competitive team. Spots are very limited.

ECE-BOTS expands our coding knowledge by learning about loops, functions, and variables, and learning how to code robots. Real-world drone applications that use science, math, and the engineering design process are interwoven into each competition challenge. Students will collaborate as a team to showcase our VEX skills with other Columbia County elementary schools in the spring.

Chorus

ECE Chorus is an opportunity for fourth- and fifth-grade students to sing, perform, and work together to make music. As part of the ECE Chorus, students will expand their musical knowledge, develop vocal technique, learn ensemble teamwork, and gain confidence through performing. It is also a place for these young musicians to express themselves.

This is a group of positive 5th graders who welcome and mentor students new to Euchee Creek. They provide school tours and offer a friendly face to nervous students.
